GRIMSBY - The Grimsby Tuesday 6-a-side football league continued to excite fans this week in what was a thrilling fifth week of the season.

In the Premier League division, Norman FC emerged as the standout team of the evening, demolishing Sons of Pitches with a devastating 7-0 victory. While Norman FC displayed their attacking prowess, Sons of Pitches will undoubtedly be looking to bounce back next week after a disappointing performance. In other matches, Law Abiding Sigurdssons and Showmethemane found themselves gridlocked in a 1-1 draw, a testament to the closely fought competition in this division. Sevilla Autism showed their stellar form with a resounding 9-2 victory over Six Degrees, making them a team to watch out for.

Over in Division 1, there was no shortage of excitement either. Pathetico Madrid and Leroy's FC ended their battle in a 2-2 draw in a game that kept spectators on their toes. In another evenly matched contest, TouchMatip and Rosa Parks The Bus FC, both teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. The star match of the night saw Saka Spuds triumph over Cesc And The City, with a hard-fought 4-2 result.

While we witnessed several great individual performances, the top scorers of the night were from Norman FC in the Premier League division and Saka Spuds in Division 1. These players showcased their expert goal-scoring abilities, contributing significantly to their team's victories.

As we move into the sixth week of the Grimsby Tuesday Football League, fans and teams alike are expecting more explosive action in both Premier League and Division 1. With the competition heating up, it's anybody's guess who will come out on top by the end of the season.
