Last night in the heart of Colchester, Week 7 of the highly anticipated local football league took place, with fierce competition in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, GTB FC went head to head with Maccies Past and Present in a nail-biting showdown. Maccies Past and Present emerged victorious with a tight 2-1 victory over GTB FC, confirming their formidable presence in the league. In another electrifying match, Murder On Zidanes Floor narrowly clinched a 1-0 victory against Crabs FC, displaying their defensive prowess and tactical superiority.

Switching focus to Division 1, Flopper FC faced a crushing 4-0 defeat against Benchwarmers FC. The Benchwarmers exhibited a high-powered offence that Flopper FC couldn’t match. The highlight of the evening in Division 1 was the astonishing 10-2 victory of Double Pogba and Coke over Fire Pit, showcasing their dominant performance. In another match, Firepit B blanked Pique Blinders 5-0, while Kroos Control eked out a narrow 2-1 victory over Chubs.

The top scorers in each division have yet to be confirmed, however, with the excellent display of skills and teamwork shown this week, we're sure to be in for a treat as the league progresses.
