In a thrilling opening week of the Rubery Friday 6-a-side Football league, football enthusiasts were treated to a spectacular display of skill, teamwork, and remarkable sportsmanship. The Premier League division had its share of memorable matches, with one of the standout performances being the clash between Bournville Wfc and Inter Ya Nan. Inter Ya Nan dominated the match, walking away with a decisive 4-1 victory.

In another high-intensity game, Cru Army squared off against Murder On Zidanes Floor. Cru Army emerged victorious, winning the match with a final scoreline of 3-1. One of the most exciting games was the face-off between Rubery Rebels and Rubery Lionesses, with the latter coming out on top in a 10-goal thriller, securing a 6-4 win.  

However, the most valued player of the week was Becky Mills, representing the Rubery Rebels. Despite the team's loss, Mills's performance stood out, displaying remarkable skill and determination throughout the match. Her performance has certainly set the tone for her performance this season, and she is undoubtedly one to watch.

As the season progresses, fans can expect more thrilling games, breathtaking goals, and exceptional performances. The Rubery Friday 6-a-side Football league is off to a roaring start and the stakes will only get higher as the teams compete for the coveted top spot in the Premier League division.
