End of Season Match Report

Play in the Birmingham Over 35’s Friday football league powered by Leisure Leagues


In the world of local football, yesterday marked the end of an exciting season as Birmingham’s Friday 6-a-side Premier League concluded its thrilling 22-week run. The city's football enthusiasts were treated to an adrenaline-filled final week of action.



In a fiercely contested division, Borussia Teeth emerged as the victorious team, securing the Premier League title with an impressive 40 points and 19 wins. Displaying a relentless drive and a determination that saw them dominate throughout the season, Borussia Teeth have indisputably earned their championship status.


However, the final week wasn't without its surprising moments. The Tired Tigers edged out Boca Seniors in an intense match that ended 2-1. Soccer PM also scored a 2-1 victory over Total Football, demonstrating excellent teamwork and tactical execution on the pitch.

The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the showdown between Misfits Utd and West Heath United. The latter team exhibited a masterclass in offensive play, trouncing Misfits Utd with a solid 4-0 victory.



Meanwhile, Kennys Clowns 1997 was outplayed by Borussia Teeth, ending up on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline. The story was similar for Injured Milan who suffered a resounding 0-6 defeat at the hands of Could Get Messi.

In another exciting clash, Fake Madrid failed to replicate their namesake's success, falling 1-3 to Deportivo FC.

The Premier League's top scorer honour went to Ashley Taylor of Could Get Messi, who racked up an impressive total of 2 goals, displaying exceptional skill and precision.



The end of the season leaves fans and players alike in anticipation for the next one. As demonstrated throughout the 22 weeks of intense competition, the local Birmingham Friday 6-a-side football league is alive and kicking, ready to return with more thrilling action in its subsequent season in two weeks time
