The Premier League of the much-anticipated Rubery Friday 6 a side Football League kicked off last night, marking the beginning of an exciting new season. Teams battled it out on the pitch, showcasing their skills, and setting the tone for the games to come.

In a closely fought match,  Champions West Heath United and Borussia Teeth ended in a 1-1 tie, with both teams demonstrating solid defensive play. Both teams showed promise for the rest of the season as they head into week 2.


Last seaons' joint top scorer Welch opened his account for the campaign, with both teams bound to be competing for the title

Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was the Total Football vs CAN'T RUNNINGS FC match, which resulted in a 4-1 victory for CAN'T RUNNINGS FC. The team's offensive prowess was on full display, and their strong start has made them a team to watch this season.

Meanwhile, Sporting Old Stars faced a tough defeat against Kennys Clowns 1997, who dominated the match with a scoreline of 7-1. Kennys Clowns 1997's Richard Tonks was the star player of the night, scoring three of the seven goals, catapulting him to the top of the league's goal-scoring chart.
