In last night's highly anticipated Rubery Monday 6 a side Football league, fans were treated to a thrilling spectacle of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. The second week of the season saw four hard-fought matches in the Premier League division, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.
In the first match, Menacingmen1 displayed a stunning performance, edging past Bluepool FC with a 3-2 victory. Integral to their triumph was Dayton Lawrence, who was ultimately named the league's most valued player of the week. Lawrence's impressive prowess and unwavering commitment unquestionably contributed significantly to Menacingmen1's victory, earning him well-deserved recognition.
Simultaneously, Murder On Zidanes Floor emerged victorious against Inter Ya Nan, securing a confident 3-0 win. The star of the game was Joe, who netted an impressive total of 2 goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division this week and game MVP
In another close match, Chasers On Tour squared off against No More Chances, resulting in a 1-1 draw. Both teams showcased resilience and teamwork, setting up an exciting rematch for later in the season. Harry once again was MVP for No More, as he continues his good form.
Rounding off the evening was the match between Gangsters Allardyce and PIPERS FC. With a narrow 2-1 victory, Gangsters Allardyce added another win to their season. Harvey was MVP for Gangsters, who remain unbeaten.
