Play in the Rubery Tuesday 6-a-side football league powered by Leisure Leagues


In the world of local football, last night marked the exciting kick-off to the new season of the Rubery Thursday Football league. Fans of both the Premier League and Division 1 were treated to high-octane matches full of thrilling goals, nail-biting saves, and exceptional performances.


SakaPotatoes secured a narrow 3-2 victory over Pathetic Athletic, coming back from 2 down. With their full team back Saka will be once again challenging for the title.


Most Valuable Player- Jacob Quailey (Sakapotatoes)


Beautiful Men clinched a 2-1 win against NOT Delph And Safety in tight game


Most Valuable Player- Cowley (NOT Delph and Safety)


The duel between Last Legs FC and Fc Boutay was also fiercely fought, with both teams sharing honours in a 2-2 draw.


The standout player from the Premier League division was undoubtedly Ethan of Fc Boutay. Ethan's superior attacking skills were on full display as he scored a total of 2 goals, earning him the top scorer spot for the division.


However it was Mike (Last Legs) who took home the MVP award, capped off with a fine equaliser 


Over in Division 1, TGR emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against West Heath FC, as they continue their good form since joining us

We Move edged past Maradona Kebabs with a 1-0 triumph. 


Most Valuable Player- Mitchell McGhan (We Move)


In a high-scoring affair, Bluepool FC narrowly defeated Madeline Milan 4-3. 


Most Valuble Player- Lewis Jeyes (Madeline Milan)



In the most lopsided match of the night, Field FC demonstrated their prowess with a convincing 8-0 thrashing of Macciesonaramp.


The star of Division 1 was Reegan Hollier of Field FC, who notched an impressive 4 goals, making him the top scorer for the division and the game MVP


This first week of the season has set the stage for an action-packed and exhilarating league. Fans are already eagerly looking forward to next week's fixtures. With such a thrilling start, the Rubery Thursday Football League promises an enthralling season of football ahead.
