Play in the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Football fans were treated to a captivating week 5 of the Rubery Thursday 6 a side Football League, with thrilling performances across the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Beautiful Men showcased their skill and dominance, defeating Last Legs FC 3-0.

On the other hand, SakaPotatoes continued their impressive run with a 2-0 victory over Field FC.

The most riveting match of the league, however, was between Chasers81120 FC and FC Boutay, which ended with a 3-2 scoreline in favor of Chasers81120 FC. Joseph Cope from Chasers81120 FC stole the show, netting a total of 3 goals to top the Premier League scoring charts this week including a last minute screamer

Meanwhile, in Division 1, fans witnessed a high-octane match between Oldman Arthritic and Excelsior FC, which concluded with Excelsior FC triumphing with an 8-6 scoreline. Excelsior were 5-2 down at half time but some inspired subs and tactical switches changed the game


Most Valuable Player- Charlie (Excelsior FC)


The match between Munter Hunters and Pathetic Athletic ended in a 3-3 draw, which keeps Pathetic a point clear at the top. At an end to game in which Bloomer thought he had won it for Pathetic, but great hold up play and finish by James saved the point for Munters

Maradona Kebabs and Pipers FC also shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw in a tight game


Most Valuable Player- Ruben (Pipers FC)


 Charlie Edwards from Excelsior FC emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, netting a hat-trick to help his team secure the win.

As we pass the halfway point of the season, the competition is heating up across both divisions. Teams are displaying their grit and determination, and the fans are in for a treat as the league progresses. It will be interesting to see how the teams fare in the upcoming weeks and who will rise to the top of their respective divisions. The battle for the top scorer's position is also heating up, with Joseph Cope and Charlie Edwards leading the way in their respective divisions.
