Play in the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league powered by Leisure Leagues



In the most recent round of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football League, a thrilling set of matches unfolded, with teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battling it out on the pitch during this exciting week 7 of the season.



In the Premier League, FC Boutay put up a ferocious fight against Beautiful Men, only to suffer a narrow 2-3 defeat. Once again, a good performance for Boutay only not to come away with the points


Most Valuable Player- Ethan (Boutay)



Another closely contested match featured Pique Blinders FC and SakaPotatoes, with the latter emerging as victors in a high-scoring game that ended 4-3. Last Legs FC and DIAMOND FC couldn’t be separated, while Pathetic Athletic fell to a 0-2 defeat against Chasers81120 FC.


This gives Beautiful Men the slight edge at the top, whilst a valuable win for Chasers moves them away from the drop zone

Over in Division 1, Pawels VI squeezed past Field FC with a 1-0 win, while Macciesonaramp trounced Burning Rings 5-0. The standout game of the evening was undoubtedly MO SAYS NO FC vs Is It Pink, which saw a feast of goals. The game ended in a resounding 7-2 victory for Is It Pink, with Aiden proving to be the star of the show, scoring a remarkable 4 goals.


Maccies stay top, whilst the surprise package of the season, Is It Pink, sit 3 points clear of Field in second

The Rubery Thursday League continues to be a thrilling spectacle for fans and players alike. Throughout both the Premier League and Division 1, there is a palpable sense of competitive spirit and camaraderie. With top scorers Max Colebrooke and Aiden setting high standards, the coming weeks will undoubtedly bring more exhilarating performances.


Can we remind all teams, as much as enjoy our Thursdays and the atmosphere it brings, groups of people to watch and support can not be accommodated at the venue and will be asked to move on. We will pick this up with captains today
