In an exciting week 8 of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football League, we saw some exhilarating performances from both the Premier League and Division 1 teams.
In the Premier League, Pique Blinders FC clinched victory with a 6 - 4 win over SakaPotatoes in a classic end to end game
Most Valuable Player- Max (Pique Blinders)
Beautiful Men gave a stunning performance, securing a 5 - 0 triumph over Chasers81120 FC. JT, back from injury, finishing was brilliant as the lads look to retain their title
Most Valuable Player- Thomson (Beautiful Men)
FC Inconsistent managed to edge out Last Legs FC in a close encounter ending 3 - 2 for their first LL win
Most Valuable Player- Wakeman (Last Legs)
In another fascinating match, Pathetic Athletic took the win over Fc Boutay with a final score of 3 - 1.
Most Valuable Player- Sam (Pathetic Athletic)
Over in Division 1, NOT Delph And Safety2 defeated We Move with a score of 3 - 1, as they returned back to the league with a win
Most Valuable Player- Jenson (NOT Delph and Safety)
Bluepool FC dominated the pitch with a staggering 15 - 0 win against Local Chippys.

Field FC clinched a 5 - 1 victory over Maradona Kebabs, to remain joint top of the table
Most Valuable Player- Ethan (Field FC)
Macciesonaramp edged out a win against Madeline Milan with a final score of 2 - 1

This week was a thrilling demonstration of the skills and sportsmanship that we have come to expect from the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football League. The players have left us eagerly looking forward to next week's fixtures.
