The Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football league is in full swing as the season approaches its thrilling conclusion. With only two weeks left, the teams are vying to secure their spots for next season.


In the Premier League division, the competition was fierce. SakaPotatoes trumped Pathetic Athletic with a dominating 4-1 score. Leading the charge for SakaPotatoes was Jacob Quailey, who masterfully netted three goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

 In an equally decisive game, Chasers81120 FC executed a clean sweep against Last Legs FC, leaving the scorecard reading 5-0.

With 2 games to do, it is the race for second that will go to the wire with 4 teams in with a shout 

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the week saw some impressive performances and unexpected outcomes. Excelsior FC couldn't hold off Maradona Kebabs, who secured a 3-0 victory.

The standout game, however, was between Fc Boutay and Field FC, where Field FC managed to edge out a victory with a 4-2 win. Reegan Hollier was instrumental in propelling Field FC to victory, scoring two goals, and securing his position as the top scorer for the Division 1 this week.
