Play in the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league powered by Leisure Leagues



The ninth week of the Rubery Thursday Football League was an adrenaline-fueled affair with a flurry of goals and action-packed matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.



In the Premier League, Last Legs FC and Pique Blinders FC kicked off the action in a tightly contested match, with the former securing a narrow 2-1 win. 


Most Valuable Player- Joe McKenzie (Last Legs)


FC Inconsistent, despite putting up a spirited fight, fell short against FC Boutay who took home the points with a 4-2 victory. 


Most Valuable Player- Joe Ricketts (FC Boutay)


Pathetic Athletic suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Beautiful Men, to take the reigning champs clear at the top


Most Valuable Player- Zak (Beautiful Men)



SakaPotatoes managed to squeeze past Chasers81120 FC in a seven-goal thriller, winning 4-3. Jacob Quailey of SakaPotatoes was the standout player in the Premier League this week, netting a total of two goals and the game MVP



Over in Division 1, Macciesonaramp and NOT Delph And Safety2 failed to break the deadlock, resulting in a rare 0-0 draw.

Madeline Milan pulled off an impressive performance against Field FC, securing a 5-3 win, with Alfie being the star of the show with five goals and game Most Valuable Player 


Maradona Kebabs and Bluepool FC shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, as Bluepool remain top


Most Valuable Player- Aaron (Bluepool FC)


 We Move completely dominated Local Chippys, taking home a convincing 8-0 victory.

As the Rubery Thursday Football League heads into the tenth week, all teams will be looking to improve on their performances, aiming to climb higher up their respective league tables. The anticipation for the next round of matches is palpable as we await more thrilling performances from these well-matched teams.
