Title: Rubery Thursday League Week 13 Results Show Outstanding Performances

In the dramatic 13th week of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football League, both the Premier League and Division 1 went into overdrive, with some outstanding performances ensuring the results will not be forgotten soon.

In the Premier League, the highlights saw Mr Woottons U16s decimate Misfits FC with a resounding 12-0 victory. The star of the night, without a doubt, was Luke who notched up a whopping four goals for Mr Woottons U16s, earning him the title of top scorer for the Premier League this week.

Yates and Rodgers also scored 3 and 4 respectively, however I'm sure there were no arguments for the match ball as Mr Woottons secured the Premier League title with a week to spare

An incredible season for Mr Woottons who will pick up the league trophy on the first game of the new season.

Most Valuable Player - Grundy (Mr Woottons)

Misfits FC, who had 5 men for most of the first half, welcome back players next week, and are always looking for new people to join if you know anyone interested

In another Premier League match, SakaPotatoes secured a neat 2-0 win against Delph And Safety, ensuring they continue to hold their own in the league standings and confirm their place as runners up.

A good season for Saka, who next season will have two of their main players back as they make another title challenge.  A solid start for our new team Delph and Safety who played well and sure will pick up points next season

Most Valuable Player - AZ (Sakapotatoes)

In Division 1, competition was equally fierce, with results reflecting the high level of talent within the division. The match between Chasers81120 FC and Athletico Northfield ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw, ensuring both teams shared the spoils for the night.

Most Valuable Player - Benno (Athletico Northfield)

DEPORTiVO FC managed to overcome Willian Her Mouth with a 5-3 victory, creating plenty of talking points and goals from Wayne, Steeles, Streven and McKoy

A massive win for DEPORTiVO and sends the promotion race to the final day for Willian.

Most Valuable Player - McCoy (DEPORTiVO)

However, the night belonged to Nordic FC, who clinched a convincing 4-0 win against Hardly Athletic. The star player for Division 1 was Dan Clarke from Nordic FC who scored a fantastic hat-trick, earning him the title of top scorer for the division this week.

Most Valuable Player - Clarke (Nordic)

As the Rubery Thursday League moves into its 14th week, teams are now more motivated than ever to climb up the league standings. The competition appears to be heating up, promising more exciting matches in the weeks to come. The performances of Luke and Dan Clarke, in particular, will be closely watched after their impressive displays this week. Stay tuned for more updates on what is shaping up to be an exhilarating season!

Next week will see must win games for Willian and Sinister Six, who will win Division 1 and seal promotion?
