In a thrilling conclusion to Rubery Thursday's 6-a-side football league, teams across both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions displayed impressive performances in week 14, the final week of this season.

In the Premier League, Mr Woottons U16s clinched the title with a total of 23 points, boasting an impressive record of 11 wins, demonstrating both strategic brilliance and physical prowess throughout the season.


Closely followed in the runners up position were Sakapotatoes, who with key players back next season, will be looking to go one step further for the league title.


For Mr Wootton, Luke finished top scorer in the division with 15 goals followed by Reid for Sakapotatoes. Luke will pick up the Golden Boot for the league

Over in Division 1, the competition was equally fierce, with Willian Her Mouth emerging as the winners. Securing a total of 20 points and 9 wins, their persistent efforts and remarkable gameplay earned them the top spot. Notably, their star player, Joe Close, distinguished himself as the division's top scorer, netting a total of 3 goals on Thursday and taking him to 11 for the season, winning the Golden Boot


The competitive spirit was palpable as teams Athletico Northfield and Hardly Athletic went head-to-head, resulting in a narrow 1-0 victory for Athletico Northfield.

Meanwhile, Nordic FC demonstrated their offensive capabilities with an extraordinary 8-2 win over Pathetic Athletic with a hat-trick from Ty

Adding to the excitement, DEPORTiVO FC shut out Sinister Six with a 3-0 win, showcasing their defensive prowess.  A great win for DEPORTiVO with a brace from Christain. Disappointment for Sinister, who finish as runners up, but will be ready to go again next season.

Willian Her Mouth didn't disappoint their fans, concluding their season with a decisive 3-0 win against Chasers81120 FC to seal promotion to the Premier league and the league title
