RUBERY, THURSDAY NIGHT - A dramatic turn of events unfolded in the week 6 showdown of the Rubery Thursday Football league. Teams from the Premier League and Division 1 clashed on the field, resulting in thrilling matches and remarkable performances by individuals.

In the Premier League, Chasers81120 FC stumbled against Willian Her Mouth, falling 2-0 in a tightly contested game. 

A double from Cowley sealed the points for Willian, and keeps them in touching distance of 2nd place

Most Valuable Player - Dieter Schwarm (Willian Her Mouth)

Pique Blinders showed their dominance, ruthlessly overpowering Sinister Six 6-1. Wilson from Pique Blinders delivered an outstanding performance, netting 3 goals to become the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

The night was not without its surprises as Mr Woottons U16s triumphed over SakaPotatoes with a scoreline of 3-1, turning some heads in the process. The win takes them clear at the top as Woottons look to retain their title

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Athletico Northfield narrowly escaped Pathetic Athletic, edging them out 7-6 in a thrilling encounter. In what some called the game of the season, Athletic's new look side fell short at the final hurdle

Most Valuable Player - Aiden Bick (Athletico Northfield)

Nordic FC and Delph And Safety ended their clash in a 3-3 draw, leaving both teams with one point with Delph equalizing in the last minute of the game. The point keeps Delph top, with the run in to the title about to start

Most Valuable Player - Dan Clarke (Nordic FC)

However, the highlight of the evening was the prowess displayed by DEPORTiVO FC, who crushed FC BomersField with a stunning score of 19-0. Wayne French of DEPORTiVO FC was instrumental in the resounding victory, scoring a total of 8 goals to make him the top scorer for Division 1.
