Title: Thrilling Final Week Concludes Rubery Thursday 6-a-Side Football League

In an exhilarating final week of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-Side Football League, numerous teams battled it out for glory across two divisions. The Premier League and Division 1 saw some extraordinary football, with an abundance of goals, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

In the Premier League, Mr Woottons U16s claimed the crown with a stunning total of 20 points from 10 wins. This team, which has been on a roll throughout the season, marked the closing of the league with a whopping 7-2 victory over Willian Her Mouth. The shining star of the match was undoubtedly Mcginley, who netted an impressive hat-trick, bringing his total to 3 for the night and securing his spot as the top scorer in the Premier League division tonight

Second title in a row for Mr Wootton's, with the league expanding to 8 teams next season, will they be able to make it a hat-trick of wins?


Congratulations as well to Sakapotatoes, who once again finished runners up this season. Saka were in action tonight with two friendlies against Tuesday team The Special Inbetweeners, and our new Thursday team Beautiful Men.


Chasers signed off from the Premier League with a 2-0 over Pipers FC. Chasers will be pushing for promotion next season from Division 1.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Delph And Safety clinched the title with 18 points from 8 victories. This division, known for its fierce competition, lived up to its reputation with some close encounters. Delph And Safety concluded their campaign with a closely-fought 2-2 draw against Athletico Northfield. Lewis Johnson scored possibly the goal of the season on the final day, with a beautiful volley and secure Northfield's 3rd place finish.

With the league title secured, Harrison's team will look for a credible start to life in the Premier League in the new season next week, as well as lifting the Division 1 trophy.


Joining them in the Premier League will be Deportivo FC who sealed promotion with a 7-2 win against Pathetic Athletic. McKoy and French finished top of the Divsion 1 top scorers list, their goals have helped Gary's side into the top flight.

However, the highlight of Division 1 was Nordic FC's crushing 11-0 win over FC BomersField. Matt Clarke was the standout player with an astonishing haul of 6 goals, making him the top scorer in Division 1 tonight.
