In a thrilling week seven of the Rubery Thursday 6 a side Football league, fans were treated to an exciting mix of upsets, triumphs and high-scoring games in both the Premier League and Division 1.

The Premier League saw a spectacular performance by Mr Woottons U16s, who took down Beautiful Men with a decisive 4-1 victory. The star of the match was undoubtedly Ethan Hanks, who netted an impressive total of three goals, elevating his status as the division's top scorer of the week.

In a closely contested match, the Pique Blinders were tough to separate from Dyslexia Untied as they ended in a 3-3 draw. Coming from behind, Pique managed to rescue a point which leaves Dysleixa level at the top

Meanwhile, SakaPotatoes narrowly edged out DEPORTiVO FC 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller in one of the games of the night. Deportivo will take alot of confidence from the performance, but in the end of the attacking outlet of Saka was too strong

Willian Her Mouth secured a clean 2-0 win over Last Legs FC, thereby maintaining their unbeaten run to 2 games now, as pull away from the drop zone

Over in the Division 1 fixtures, Athletico Northfield managed to secure a 3-1 victory over Pathetic Athletic in a hard-fought match. Pathetic lead at half time, however a strong second half showing from Northfield showed why they are the league leaders. A string of saves by the Athletic keeper Faulkner kept Pathetic in the game for long periods second half, however goals by Bick, Johnson and Evans sealed the points

The highlight of the night was Pipers Fc who obliterated Nordic FC 7-0, with Brandon Aston proudly wearing the hat-trick hero mantle, becoming the top scorer in Division 1 for the week.

In other results, Chasers81120 FC overcame Misfits FC 6-2, with a hat-trick from Reece Bowler helping secure the points for which keeps the Chasers in 3d

In the evening's final game, The Special Inbetweeners recorded a 4-2 win over FC BomersField. An end to end game, which saw late goals by Olerenshaw help the Inbetweeners take home the points

As we approach the final stages of the season, competition is heating up in both divisions. Fans are on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating next week's games, as teams continue to battle it out for supremacy in the Rubery Thursday Football League.
