In an electrifying week of football, the 8th week of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league brought an intense showdown across the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, there were some impressive performances. Beautiful Men triumphed 3-0 against Willian Her Mouth showing their dominance on the field. Once again, Jack T was MVP, continuing his successful season and keeping the Men in touch at the top

The match between Last Legs FC and SakaPotatoes ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw. A hat trick by Mike Wakeman helped Last Legs pick up their first points of the season as they look to move out of the relegation zone

However, the highlight of the Premier League this week was undoubtedly the 5-8 slugfest between DEPORTiVO FC and Pique Blinders. 

Pique Blinders' Wilson was the standout performer of the week, netting a stunning total of 4 goals. His exceptional performance has undoubtedly elevated him to the status of the week's top scorer in the Premier League division.

Switching gears to Division 1, football fans were treated to another round of compelling matches. The Special Inbetweeners succumbed to a 0-4 defeat at the hands of Athletico Northfield. The win takes Northfield clear at the top as they look for promotion this season

Misfits FC suffered a punishing 1-9 defeat to Pipers Fc. Pipers are looking to secure the promotion places, and are in full position with half way through the season gone


Most Valuable Player - Shaq Moore (Misfits FC)

In the final match of the division, Nordic FC demonstrated their prowess with a 5-2 victory over Pathetic Athletic.

Division 1 celebrated Kelly from Pipers Fc as the top scorer, with an impressive haul of 3 goals. His contributions were instrumental in his team's resounding success.
