Thrilling football action was witnessed last night in week 9 of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football League, with teams in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions showing great skill and determination.
In the Premier League division, Chasers81120 FC faced off against Beautiful Men, displaying an intense competition and ending the game with a tight score of 2-3 in favor of Beautiful Men. Without a doubt, the match saw both teams putting up a formidable fight, with for the second week in a row, Beautiful Men coming from 2 down. Champions mentality
Most Valuable Player- Telon (Chasers FC)
Elsewhere in the same division, FC Boutay and SakaPotatoes went toe-to-toe, battling to a 4-4 draw. Potentially the game of the season, which will be able to be seen on our YouTube channel, Leisure Leagues TV, over the weekend.
Most Valuable Player- Jack Shannon (Sakapotatoes)
The final match was between Field FC and Pathetic Athletic, with Pathetic Athletic proving to be anything but that, decisively taking the match with a 2-0 victory.

The Division 1 category also witnessed some exhilarating games. Macciesonaramp were overpowered by Last Legs FC with an astonishing 7-1 scoreline. The win confirmed Legs as champions and promoted for next season
A fiercely contested match between We Move and Pipers FC ended in a 1-1 draw. The intensity continued with NOT Delph And Safety tying their match 1-1 against TGR.
The star of the Division 1 category was undoubtedly Michael Teji from Last Legs FC. His remarkable performance saw him net a total of 2 goals, making him the top scorer for his division tonight and MVP for his game
