In an exhilarating week of football, the 9th week of the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side league certainly did not disappoint. Teams in the Premier League division and Division 1 battled it out on the pitch, with some clear winners and nail-biting finishes.
In the Premier League division, Pathetic Athletic also didn't disappoint their fans, beating Pipers FC 4-1. The star player of the division was Battle of Pathetic Athletic who found the back of the net twice, showcasing his goal-scoring abilities.

With Last Legs FC and Beautiful Men on holiday, they forfeited this week. Just a reminder to all teams for future reference a weeks notice is required for holiday
On the other hand, Division 1 had its share of thrilling matches. Field FC pulled off a convincing 3-1 win over Oldman Arthritic.

Maradona Kebabs managed to edge past Macciesonaramp with a marginal 1-0 victory.

The top scorer for Division 1 was Reegan Hollier of Field FC, who managed to score a solitary goal. His scoring touch proved to be critical in giving his team the victory.
As we approach the end of the season, the competition continues to heat up. These teams have shown they have the mettle and the skill to compete at the highest level. Fans can look forward to more thrilling action in the coming weeks.
