In the world of local football, the Rubery Tuesday 6-a-side Premier League started off with a bang last night, ushering in a new season of spirited competition and camaraderie. This first week of action saw some impressive performances from both new entrants and seasoned veterans.


The Wheezy Wanderers FC faced a tough challenge against Chasers81120 FC, who dominated the field with a 4-1 victory. Chasers81120 FC's cohesive teamwork and strategic play set the pace for the season.

Another noteworthy match was between South Side and Flekken The Bean FC. South Side posted a convincing 4-0 triumph, demonstrating their superior skill and tactical acumen. Their defensive play was particularly commendable, securing a clean sheet in their opening match.


In a closely fought game, Slime Boys were narrowly defeated by the Grafters, who managed to clinch a 3-2 victory. The match was a testament to the competitive spirit of the league, with both teams showcasing their grit and determination.

The unbeaten PIPERS FC showcased their striking power against Kroos Control, securing a strong 3-0 win. The man of the match was undoubtedly Smith, who scored an impressive hat trick, topping the scoring charts in the Premier League division.
