The Blackpool Tuesday 6-a-side football league kicked off its new season with a thrilling week of matches in the Premier League and Division 1, featuring impressive displays of skill, team spirit, and tenacity.

In the Premier League, the first week was marked by decisive victories and strong performances. AIK showcased their offensive prowess, sweeping Unathletic Bilbao off their feet with a crushing 6-0 win. Stiff Hips 6 also started the season on a high, besting Buggery Athletic in a goal-laden clash that ended 7-3. Centruions managed to outmanoeuvre Madeleine Milan with a solid 3-0 win, and Lemo FC, not to be outdone, defeated Farmers FC 5-1.

The standout player in the Premier League was none other than Tom Nassari of Centruions, who began his goal tally for the season with an impressive haul of three goals.

In Division 1, the matches were equally thrilling. Anne Frankfurt triumphed over Whats Up Brother with a 4-1 win, while Waterloo Wanderers were beaten 4-1 by Bens Young Boys. FY8 FC demonstrated their superiority against Blackpool Rovers with a 3-0 victory, and Fy4 Army outclassed Fred Again 4-1.

The division's top scorer was Harrison of Fy4 Army, who netted a total of two goals this week.
