Newton Abbot Monday 6 a side news - match day 7

Monday night football has been a thrill-packed adrenaline rush this season and yesterday was no different in the exhilarating Newton Abbot Monday league championship. As we rolled into week 7, players were brimming with anticipation as we approach the end of the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE

NYE clashed with Bristows Dream Team, and emerged victorious with a shock score of 3-1 to upset the title challengers. The game played out under the floodlights showcased some brilliant footwork, precision passes and spectacular goals. Despite their best efforts, Bristows Dream Team couldn't match the energy and tactics of NYE on a great night for them.

The joint biggest margin of victory of the night belonged to leaders Furzeys Dream Team who beat Newton Wanderers with a 6-1 win. The game was a one-sided affair with Furzeys Dream Team dominating possession and striking with ruthless efficiency. It was a tough night for Newton Wanderers who displayed spirit despite the scoreline.

Kings Arms AFC had a great night as they beat Six’ Offenders with a commanding score of 6-1. Aiden Blackie, the player from Kings Arms AFC, was the star of the night, becoming the top scorer by netting an impressive hat-trick.

Without a doubt, the MVP of the week was Thomas Beer, also from Kings Arms AFC. His stunning display of skills and control, coupled with his ability to read the game and make pivotal contributions made him the standout player, earning him the most deserved accolade of the most valued player.

As we look back at this pulsating week of football, it's clear that the Newton Abbot Monday league is heating up and we can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds.

Thank you to Steve for running the night and to all our players. Good luck next week.
