WELCOME TO TO ANOTHER NEW SEASON AT OUR HIGH WYCOMBE 6A SIDE WEDNESDAY LEAGUE

As always, we saw all teams in attendance as expected

The much-anticipated High Wycombe Wednesday 6-a-side football league kicked off in full swing last night, serving up a feast of thrilling matches, mind-blowing skills, and fantastic goals. The teams, split between the Premier League and Division 1, didn't disappoint as they provided football fans with a perfect opening week spectacle.

In the Premier League division, Epsteins Elite eked out a narrow 1-0 victory against Verdansk Veterans in a tightly contested match. Suck Matip managed to turn the tables on Skilly with a 3-2 win, while Khedira Pin Drop showed a solid performance, defeating FC Motechnics 2-0. Totteridge Town Academy also made a strong start to their campaign, securing a 1-0 win against Finding Timo. Meanwhile, SERIOUS 6S asserted their dominance over Pathetico Madrid with a 4-1 victory.

Over in Division 1, Beating Chastards opened the season with a convincing 2-0 win against YardBoys FC. Class On Grass edged out Winkers U11s in a 1-0 victory, while Rafalation and Flair ended their match in a goalless draw. Hardly Athletic secured a 2-1 victory over Stephen Hawkings Pit Crew, and Farage In Charge made a massive statement with an 8-1 demolition of Kiss My Pass.

As the season has just begun, the competition is already heating up. SERIOUS 6S and Farage In Charge have taken the early lead in their respective divisions as the top scorers. With several games still to play, fans can expect more action-packed encounters in the following weeks. This week’s games have set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season of the High Wycombe Wednesday league.
