We saw a brilliant start into the Seasons with all teams in attendance as expected

The new season of the much-anticipated High Wycombe Wednesday 6 a side Football league set off to an exhilarating start last night with a series of closely contested matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Verdansk Veterans emerged as the dominant force, stunning Epsteins Elite with a 3-0 victory. Their power-packed performance sets an early pace for the season and sends a clear message to the other teams. Similarly, Totteridge Town Academy showed their prowess with a thumping 5-0 victory over Flair. Khedira Pin Drop managed to edge out FC Motechnics with a 1-0 win, while SERIOUS 6S secured a 3-1 victory against Rafalation. The only upset of the evening was the closely contested match between Skilly and Finding Timo, which Finding Timo narrowly won 2-1.

Over in Division 1, the matches were equally thrilling. The contest between YardBoys FC and Beating Chastards ended in a 2-2 draw in a game that saw both teams exhibit some stunning football. Wide Receivers, however, stole the show with a 5-0 triumph over Winkers U11s. The match between Pathetico Madrid and Saffery Sixes concluded in a 3-3 draw, while Black Magic secured a 4-1 victory against Judo Centre. Kiss My Pass managed to secure a 2-0 win over Farage In Charge.

The top scorers for the night were Verdansk Veterans and Totteridge Town Academy in the Premier League, and Wide Receivers and Black Magic in Division 1. This first week of play has set an exciting stage for the season ahead, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next round of matches.
