Week 1 of the new season of the Crewe Sunday 6 a side football league kicked off last night, providing fans with an array of thrilling matches. The night was marked by high-scoring action, unexpected results, and a standout performance from Luke Gillan of Tea & Busquets.

In the Premier League, Tyre Pro FC set the tone for the season with a resounding 12 - 0 victory against Ball Scratchers. Tyre Pro FC demonstrated an impressive offensive performance, establishing themselves as the early pacesetters for the league.

Tea & Busquets started their season on a high note, securing an emphatic 6 - 1 victory over Choccy Brownies FC. Their standout player, Luke Gillan, was named the most valued player for the week, demonstrating excellence and prowess on the pitch, and significantly contributing to his team's triumph.

In a heated encounter, FC Octagon managed to edge past STAL with a 3 - 0 victory. Meanwhile, Whats Rob Holding and FC WES offered spectators a thrilling spectacle, ending the game in a nail-biting 5-5 draw.

Unfortunately, due to the floodlights not working this meant we could not play the last two games. We apologise for any inconvenience caused these teams will be credited and their next fixtures together will be a double header.
