CREWE SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE: WEEK 7 REVIEW
In the Premier League division of the Crewe Sunday Football League, Week 7 was filled with passion, grit and a feast of goals.
The first encounter of the night saw Half Dozen Donuts tussle with Calums Corner in a tightly contested match. It was a defensive masterclass from both teams, with Calums Corner edging a 1-0 victory. The win was a testament to the Corner's rigid defence and efficient attacking prowess, marking their ascendance in the league table.
Next up, we had Radius FC taking on Dabbers FC. Dabbers FC displayed an incredible performance, routing Radius FC with a resounding 7-0 victory. It was indeed a night to forget for Radius FC as Dabbers FC took complete control of the game, confirming their status as one of the most threatening sides in the division.
However, the most thrilling spectacle of the night was undoubtedly the 4-4 draw between HEATHFIELD FC and STAL. Both teams showed true character, constantly trading goals and displaying some of the best football the league has seen this season.
In the final match of the night, Delph And Safety edged past FC WES in a thriller, which ended 3-2 in favor of Delph And Safety. The match was a rollercoaster ride, with goals and drama right up until the final whistle.
While the Premier League division has seen some exceptional displays, the goal-scoring charts have proven to be equally compelling. Top scorers this week were dominated by Dabbers FC, with their impressive seven-goal haul, closely followed by HEATHFIELD FC and STAL, each with four goals to their names.
