In a thrilling week of football, the Ashton Under Lyne Monday 6-a-side league saw exhilarating performances across its divisions – Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, and Division 5.
In the Premier League, Oreo FC dominated their opponents 2 Girls 1 Schlupp in a 6-0 victory with Stephen Melia being the star of the match, scoring a commendable total of 3 goals. Ste Min FC also had a successful match, taking down Anew FC 3-0. However, the highlight of the division was the unforgettable 10-0 victory of AFC BC against FC Gamble.
Division 1 presented an intense match between Colts and Railway FC, with the latter emerging victorious 3-2. Mason Conlen played a crucial role in Railway FC's victory by contributing two goals. Meanwhile, Tameside Tigers and Lads On Toure shared spoils in a 5-5 draw while Troopers FC defeated Droylsden United 4-1.
