Monday 30th March - Curzon Ashton Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Ashton Under Lyne Monday 6 a side league this week.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LEAGUE IS CANCELLED FOR ONE WEEK ON MONDAY 6TH APRIL DUE TO EASTER BANK HOLIDAY.  WE RETURN AS PER FIXTURES ONLINE FROM MONDAY 13TH APRIL AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE BACK FOR THESE MATCHES.  WE HOPE EVERYONE HAS A CRACKING EASTER.

In the Premier League division, UNATHLETICO MADRID secured a thumping victory over 2 Girls 1 Schlupp with a scoreline of 5-1. Colts and Sulivans Vi played out an even 2-2 draw, while Ste Min Fc outshone Droylsden United with a 6-3 victory. Ste Min Fc's Roman was the standout, netting four goals and claiming the top scorer spot for the week.


Division 1 saw Blaze overcome Tekkerslovakia 4-2, while Special Forces defeated Road To Relegation 3-1. Ladzio and Alcoholico Madrid ended their match in a 2-2 stalemate. Blaze's Adam emerged as the top scorer in this division, scoring an impressive three goals.


In Division 2, Varcelona had a field day as they crushed AmorimLicker 7-0. The closely contested match between UK Decs and T Side kept spectators on the edge of their seats, ending with a 4-3 victory for T Side. Callum from Varcelona triumphed as the top scorer, adding four goals to his tally.


Division 3 witnessed TC Sports defeating Duki United 3-1, while Droylsden Dynamos narrowly beat Six In The City 3-2. Lords VI and Seal Team 6 ended their encounter in a 2-2 draw. Alfie of Droylsden Dynamos topped the scoring chart with two goals.


Finally, in Division 4, Staly Vegas Fc nudged past Bog Nation 3-2, while Dzeko And The Bunnymen claimed a narrow 2-1 victory over Pilfering Swines. Millgate FC outgunned Ntown Fc 3-1. Lewis from Staly Vegas Fc was the top scorer with two goals. This week's matches provided a glimpse of the exciting competition to come.
