Monday 9th February - Curzon Ashton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Curzon Ashton Monday 6 a side league overall this week, we did unfortunately have a couple of non-attendances but look forward to seeing Road To Relegation, Tameside Rangers and Sliding Into CDM's return as normal on Monday 16th February.

In the Premier League division, the top scorer was Tom from the Sulivans Vi team who bagged a total of 3 goals. Colts and 2 Girls 1 Schlupp fought to a 2 - 2 draw, while Sulivans Vi dominated Malaga FC in a 6 - 1 victory. Ste Min FC showed their prowess with a clean 4 - 0 win over FCG.

Division 1 witnessed a masterclass performance from Isaac of UNATHLETICO MADRID. With a total of 4 goals, he remained the top scorer for the division. The team trounced AmorimLicker with a massive 13 - 1 scoreline.

Over in Division 2, Tekkerslovakia's Lewis was the standout player with 5 goals under his belt. GOA and Ladzio, Jack Derbyshire's McMuffin Men and Six In The City all put up impressive performances in their respective matches.

The competition was fierce in Division 3 as well. Nathan from Millgate FC was the top scorer with 2 goals. Ashton CC and TC Sports demonstrated their mettle with victories over their opponents.

In Division 4, Jack from the Pilfering Swines stood out as the top scorer with 3 goals. The division saw closely contested matches between teams such as Inter Yer Nan and Pilfering Swines, Bog Nation and Dzeko And The Bunnymen, and Seal Team 6 and Lords VI.
