Ashton Sunday 6 a side league news 2nd May 2023

Welcome to the match round-up for the Ashton Sunday 6 a side football league held at Curzon Ashton Football Club! Unfortunately, a few teams were missing for game week 8, but we are pleased to confirm that Nyahsley Cole, Team Chunky, Meki Basset Allsorts, Real Madri, and The Drogs Ballacks will all be back next week to participate in the league.

In terms of the match results for game week 8, it was a thrilling set of games! Net 6 and chill managed to secure a narrow 3-2 victory against the Cockwombles in a closely fought match. Meanwhile, They Think Its all Zola secured an impressive 6-4 victory against Chamack The Pitch Up, with some excellent attacking play on display. Finally, the match between Chiellini Con Carne and Madcows FC ended in a 2-2 draw, with both teams displaying some excellent defensive play.
