First night at temporary venue

Our Curzon Ashton FC teams settled nicely into life at our temporary venue at Oasis Academy in Oldham on Sunday, as we saw all teams in attendance for some magnificent games. The only exception to this was Btec, and we will be in contact with the team captain to confirm they will be back as normal next week.

Please don't forget to contact Head Office on 0333 123 2340 and let us know if you cannot make your game, so that we can organise a match for your opposition.

Premier Division

With it being the half way stage of the current season next week, the title race remains tantalisingly open. After losing their first game of the season, Sex Drugs & Carlton Cole have come storming back into contention, and beat previous league leaders The Specially Selected 3-0 last night.

This opened the door for Counterfreit FC to move top of the league, and they gratefully took the opportunity with an impressive 3-0 victory over strugglers Team Chunky.

Expected Toulouse picked up their first point of the season with a solid 1-1 draw against Lord Bendtners Disciples, and will be hoping this could be the springboard for a survival bid.

Division One

In Division One, Pique Blinders made it the perfect 4 out of 4 with a 3-1 win over Bench FC, who experienced defeat for the first time this season.

This moves them three points clear of second placed Barely Athletic, who were beaten 2-1 by Real Slow And Bad. Both teams will be harbouring ambitions for promotion, while Bench FC still remain firmly in the running with one point separating the three sides.
