Sunday 15th February - Ashton Under Lyne Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Curzon Ashton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

In the Premier League division, the competition was cut-throat as teams battled it out for supremacy. Inter Row Z faced off with Ashton Villa in an enthralling encounter, which saw Inter Row Z emerge victorious with a 3-1 victory. The star performer of the night was Tom from Inter Row Z, who single-handedly scored two exceptional goals to cement the win.

A close contest ensued between Going Toulouse and Take This, with the former edging out a 2-1 victory. The evening ended with a thrilling draw between Gangsters Allardyce and Only Here 4 The Beer, as both teams locked horns in a 3-3 stalemate, showcasing the intense competition in the Premier League division.

Action was equally gripping in the Division 1 league. A high scoring clash between Man Shitty and Cockwombles saw the latter clinch a 4-2 victory, primarily due to the splendid hat trick from Shaun D, who emerged as the top scorer in the division. Shaw FC and Still Only Here played out an evenly contested draw with a 2-2 scoreline. Rounding off the Division 1 action, Sons Of A Pitch secured a clean 3-0 win over Unathletic Bilbao.
