Sunday 15th March - Ashton Under Lyne Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Curzon Ashton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions as scheduled.

In the Premier League Division, Gangsters Allardyce faced a tough challenge against Ashton Villa, falling with a 4-2 defeat. Meanwhile, Going Toulouse showcased an impressive performance against Only Here 4 The Beer, securing a 4-0 victory. Always anticipated Inter Row Z clashed with Take This, resulting in a 5-2 victory in favor of Inter Row Z.

A special mention must be given to Nathan from Inter Row Z, who topped the Premier League division's scoring chart this week with a total of 3 goals. His performance undoubtedly contributed significantly to the team's victory, demonstrating his exceptional talent on the field.

Shifting our focus to Division 1, one-sided affairs dominated the field. Sons Of A Pitch faced a crushing 10-2 defeat against Cockwombles, who showed their dominance from the get-go. A closer competition was seen between Rair Flugs and Unathletic Bilbao, ended in a 4-3 victory for Rair Flugs. Man Shitty couldn't cope with Still Only Here, losing 3-2.

Division 1's top scorer of the week was Ben from Cockwombles, contributing an impressive 5 goals to his team's tally. His performance was pivotal in securing their commanding victory.
