Sunday 18th January - Ashton Under Lyne Round-Up

It was a good start to the new season on Sunday in the Ashton Under Lyne 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions.

The Premier League saw fierce competition where Ashton Villa secured a commanding win of 4-2 over Only Here 4 The Beer. Gangsters Allardyce emerged as the division's juggernauts, netting a resounding 6-0 victory against Shitzerland. The most closely-fought match of the day was between Inter Row Z and Going Toulouse, which ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

Logan of Gangsters Allardyce outshone all his peers in the Premier League division and was named the top scorer of the week. His hat-trick contribution in the game played a crucial role in his team's decisive triumph.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Unathletic Bilbao fell to a devastating 10-2 defeat at the hands of the mighty Cockwombles. Sons of a Pitch and Still Only Here battled it out on the field, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Elsewhere in Division 1, Man Shitty outplayed Shaw Fc with an impressive scoreline of 4-1.

Shaun H from Cockwombles stole the show in Division 1 by scoring an impressive total of 6 goals, making him the undisputed top scorer of the week in the division.
