Sunday 1st March - Curzon Ashton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Curzon Ashton Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring a cancellation from Unathletico Bilbao, and a no show from Shaw FC, both of which will be confirmed to return on Sunday 8th March.

In the Premier League division, Going Toulouse and Ashton Villa faced off in a tightly contested match that ended in a 0-0 stalemate. Both teams fought hard, vying for supremacy, but neither was able to break the deadlock.

In another thrilling match, Inter Row Z took on Gangsters Allardyce. Despite a spirited performance, Inter Row Z fell short, losing 2-4 to Gangsters Allardyce. Gangsters Allardyce's victory can be attributed largely to Clarke, who emerged as the top scorer of the Premier League division this week, netting an impressive total of 2 goals.

The Premier League's third match saw Take This and Only Here 4 The Beer, finish with a 1-1 draw. Both teams showcased their stellar defence, leaving no room for a decisive win from either side.

In Division 1, Man Shitty and Sons Of A Pitch battled it out in a nail-biting match which saw Man Shitty claiming a narrow 1-0 victory. Rhys Forrest of Man Shitty was the star of the game, scoring the sole crucial goal that led his team to victory. His performance earned him the top scorer of the Division 1 this week.

Good luck to all teams heading into game week 8 of the campaign with Ashton Under Lyne's premier providers of 6 a side football!
