Play in the Benfleet Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

After a long wait, the highly anticipated season of the Benfleet Monday, a 6 a side Football league, finally kicked off last night with an exciting mix of veteran teams and fresh faces vying for the title in their respective divisions.

In the Premier League division, the first round of matches were fiercely contested. Two Girls One Klopp emerged victorious with an impressive 6-1 win over Castard FC, putting them at the top of the table early in the season. Exeter Gently and Joopies FC both nudged past their opponents, Six Offenders and Moyes Story, with slender 2-1 victories. Meanwhile, Kitmans Make A Wish made a powerful statement, defeating Leaveherarsealona 7-3 in a high scoring affair.

Over in Division 1, Sporting Lesbian set the pace with a resounding 9-4 triumph over Bang Below Average. Bas Boys outplayed Sliding Uphill FC, capturing a 4-1 win. If In Doubt Kick It Out and Old Boys FC also started their campaigns on a positive note, notching up victories against Kabongolo FC and Mind The GAAP respectively.

In the Division 2 matches, Appletico Madrid demonstrated their intent with an 8-1 thrashing of Tigi Taka, while Stroke Titty FC edged past Bendersontour in a tight 2-1 contest. Rayleigh Madrid fell to Hammered VI in a 2-1 loss while Ola had a strong opener, besting Liv's Army 7-4.

The first week was a goal fest with top scorers for each division being Two Girls One Klopp (Premier League), Sporting Lesbian (Division 1), and Appletico Madrid (Division 2).
