Play in the Benfleet Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Football fever was at an all-time high last night at the Benfleet Monday league as week 2 of the season brought some intense matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

In the Premier League, a tight and fiercely fought affair saw Castard FC edge out Kitmans Make A Wish 4-3, while Leaveherarsealona overcame Joopies FC with a 4-2 victory. Exeter Gently continued their strong start to the season with a 5-2 drubbing of Moyes Story, and Two Girls One Klopp secured a clean sheet with a 2-0 win over Six Offenders.

Division 1 was equally action-packed. Mind The GAAP outplayed Bang Below Average with a 4-1 win, and Kabongolo FC emerged victorious with a 7-3 triumph over Old Boys FC. If In Doubt Kick It Out narrowly defeated Bas Boys 2-1, while Sporting Lesbian managed to overcome Sliding Uphill FC 7-5 in a thrilling contest.

The drama continued in Division 2 where Appletico Madrid dominated Livs Army with a 7-2 win. Ola, with their impressive performance, managed to beat Hammered VI 4-1. Bendersontour and Rayleigh Madrid played out an evenly matched 2-2 draw, and Stroke Titty FC inflicted a crushing 16-0 defeat on Tigi Taka.

Although every team showed great spirit, the top scorers of the week were Stroke Titty FC (Division 2) with a remarkable 16 goals, Kabongolo FC (Division 1) who put up 7 goals, and Exeter Gently (Premier League) who scored 5 goals. Their performances have surely set a high bar for the following weeks.
