Play in the Plymouth Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Plymouth Monday 6-a-side football league kicked off its season yesterday with a range of exciting matches that spanned five divisions. The opening day showcased impressive performances, as teams from Premier League to Division 5 clashed to start their season on a high note.

In the Premier League, Jive Turkeys clinched a narrow 2-1 victory against This Is Our Year FC, while The City Boys made a scintillating start with an 8-1 trouncing of Khedira Pin Drop. Pique Blinders FC also started strong, triumphing 8-3 over Sevilla Depression.

Down in Division 1, Dyslexia Untied produced the performance of the day, hammering Waiting 10-1, while TB7 also had a great start, beating FC Golden Boys 6-1. Packet Patrol squeaked by ParaOlympiacos in a close 3-2 match.

In Division 2, Barely Athletic dominated Class on Grass with an 8-2 scoreline. Crouch Potato had a comfortable 5-1 win over The Balotellitubbies, and Law Abiding Sigurdssons started their season with a clean 3-0 win over Lord Of The Wings.

Over in Division 3, Show Me Da Mane started the season with a clean sheet, trouncing Austin FC 6-0, while Saltash Unathletic scraped a 1-0 victory against Friendzone FC. Manchest-hair also claimed a 3-0 win against Ollies Angels.

In Division 4, Trousers Down 11 narrowly beat AF United 3-2, while The Receding Hairlines began with a solid 4-0 win against BBB FC. Obi Wan Kenobi Nil edged out Its A No with a tight 3-2 win.

Lastly, in Division 5, Ball Of Duty started strong with a 4-0 win over Packer Palace. Mr Men And Friends clinched a tight 7-5 victory against Boi United, while Gurnow Mill defeated Lees Lions 4-1.

As the season has just started, it's tough to call out the top scorers, but teams such as The City Boys, Dyslexia Untied, and Barely Athletic have already marked themselves out as threats with their goal-scoring prowess.
