Plymouth On The Pitch: Week 1 League Results

The highly anticipated Plymouth Monday 6-a-side football league kicked off this week, marking the start of an exciting new season. Teams from all six divisions, namely Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, and Division 5, put forth their best performances in the inaugural week.

Opening the Premier League division, Jive Turkeys showed dominance over The City Boys with a clean 2-0 win. Meanwhile, TB7 barely edged past This Is Our Year FC with a close 3-2 victory.

In Division 1, Sniffing De Gea managed to secure a tight win against Barely Athletic with a 2-1 scoreline.

Division 2 saw Saltash Unathletic making an emphatic statement against Ao Lets Go, thrashing them 9-3. Law Abiding Sigurdssons also won against Kurts Victims making it 3-1, while Friendzone FC squeezed past Lord Of The Wings with a 2-1 win.

In Division 3, Its A No triumphed over The Balotellitubbies 3-1, and Ollies Angels tied Manchest-hair 1-1.

Division 4 saw high-scoring matches with AF United beating The Receding Hairlines 3-2, Pique Blinders FC romping to a 9-0 victory over Austin FC, and Lees Lions narrowly defeating Ball Of Duty 4-3.

Lastly, in Division 5, BBB FC overcame Packer Palace 3-1, while Gurnow Mill crushed Mr. Men And Friends 6-0.

As the season has just started, these results set the stage for the intense competition that lies ahead. Top scorers for each division have yet to be disclosed. Stay tuned for more updates as the season progresses.
