Play in the Plymouth Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Plymouth's competitive football spirit was on full display last night in the opening week of the new season of the Plymouth Monday 6-a-side Football league. Spirited performances by the teams across all divisions set the tone for an exciting season.

In the Premier League, Crouch Potato started the season strong, defeating The Receding Hairlines 3-1. Pumas also made a statement with a commanding 4-0 victory over Law Abiding Sigurdssons. Both teams share the top spot after day one.

Division 1 saw an emphatic performance by I Need A Breather United, who trounced Whats Occuring 5-0, marking their territory at the top of the division. Jive Turkeys also had a positive start, edging past Spackers FC 2-0. Not In Ur Mums Forrest FC had an impressive start to the season, demolishing The Titans 9-0.

In Division 2, AF United outperformed Mozf 5-0, while Madeline Milan secured a narrow 4-3 victory over FC Brian Munich. Roll The Dyche and Paraolympiacos FC shared the points in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Trousers Down 11 and BBB FC in Division 3 played out a goalless draw, while Tottenhamhotsperms edged past Book Ake 3-2. Men With Ven also had a significant 5-2 win over Mr Men And Friends.

Division 4 had its fair share of drama, with Saltash Unathletic and Ball Of Duty ending in a 2-2 draw. Gurnow Mill had a strong start defeating Packer Palace 6-1.

Finally, in Division 5, Plymdale beat Austin FC 3-1, Jerry Can FC secured a 5-1 victory over Boi United, and Evan-essence FC narrowly defeated Clive 2-1.

The season promises to be filled with excitement, high-scoring games, and closely contested battles. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next round of matches. The top scorers for each division are yet to be announced, but based on the opening week, the competition will be fierce.
