Last night marked the riveting second week of the Plymouth Monday 6-a-side Football League with astounding performances from teams across all divisions.
In the Premier League, the Jive Turkeys outshone the Pumas with a solid 4-1 victory. The Turkeys showcased their prowess on the pitch with impeccable defense and fluid attack that left the Pumas overwhelmed.
Coming to Division 1, Crouch Potato displayed a phenomenal performance, completely whitewashing the Gamballers with a 5-0 scoreline. The Madeline Milan also showed their dominance by thrashing FC Brian Munich with a score of 9-2. Not In Ur Mums Forrest FC also managed an impressive 8-1 triumph against Murder On Zidanes Floor.
In Division 2, AF United emerged victorious over Roll The Dyche by an 8-1 margin. Mr Men And Friends had a close encounter with Spackers Fc, managing to secure a 2-0 win. The 342 FC team also achieved a worthy 5-1 victory against Varane Frank.
In Division 3, Barely Athletic scraped past Men With Ven in a thrilling contest that ended 4-3. Book Ake managed to secure a 3-1 victory against Paraolympiacos Fc, while Saka Potatoes edged out Saltash Unathletic with a 2-1 win.
Division 4 saw Jerry Can Fc outplay Ball Of Duty with a 10-2 scoreline. Meanwhile, Gurnow Mill managed a narrow 1-0 victory against BBB FC, and Tottenhamhotsperms triumphed over Plymdale 6-3.
In Division 5, Austin Fc secured a win against Clive with a 3-1 scoreline. Evan-essence Fc overcame Boi United in a 4-2 victory, while Monglizzy United prevailed over Stonehouse Fc by 4-2.
The star of this week’s league was Jordan Gilbery from Ball Of Duty. Despite his team’s loss, Gilbery's performance stood out, earning him the title of the most valued player of the week.
