Dover Monday 5 a side news | WEEK 3

In an action-packed evening of football, the Dover Monday 5-a-side League continued last night with the third week of the season. Teams from the Premier League division battled it out on the pitch, showcasing skills, strategy and, of course, goals - plenty of them.

The standout fixture of the night was undoubtedly Spam And Mash versus Arteta Out. The former turned out victorious with a 10-5 win, thanks to an exceptional performance from the league's top scorer, Alex Blanch. His impressive haul of 6 goals for Spam and Mash solidified their league standing.

Another thrilling match saw Unathletico Madrid narrowly defeat Ports, 8-6. Unathletico's Logan Young proved to be the star of the show, earning himself the title of the most valued player of the week for his remarkable performance.

In another high-scoring affair, Pepsi Maxers managed a narrow victory over Dover FC, concluding the game with a 7-6 scoreline. Meanwhile, Made by Feet put on an excellent display of teamwork and skill, overwhelming Dover Unathletic with a 12-5 triumph.

The Dover Monday League continues to provide a platform for local athletes to demonstrate their prowess, fostering community spirit and sportsmanship. As the league enters its fourth week, anticipation is high, rivalries are intensifying, and with top players like Alex Blanch and Logan Young on the pitch, spectators can expect an eventful and high-scoring affair next week.

A big thank you to the referee, without him we wouldn't be able to run the league so smoothly and consistently!
