The Darlington Monday 6-a-side football league is heating up, as it completed its eighth week last night with some thrilling games in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Darlo Mags added another victory to their tally with a narrow 2-1 win over Bielbys Boys. However, the biggest scoreline of the night was Fulchester’s dominant 8-3 victory over THE DL1 DREAM TEAM, which shot them up the table. Sigma Boys FC also claimed a 3-0 win over HMD, while Shawarma Shack FC kept a clean sheet in their convincing 5-0 win against Choppers Choppers. The night ended with Real Madridlesbrough winning a hard-fought match against Club De Karl, 5-3.

Shifting our focus to Division 1, Zinger Box United secured a 3-1 win over Bayer Neverlosen, while Team Dave suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Darlo Mags B.
