Play in the Southend Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

SOUTHEND – The Southend Sunday 7 a side Football League is heating up following an exciting third week of play within the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League Division, Big Hs 7s made an impressive statement with a 7-0 victory over F.C Sparkathorn, demonstrating their dominance on the field. Meanwhile, MITS Legends managed to secure a solid win, defeating Shoebury Unathletic 5-2, despite a spirited effort from the latter. MITS Athletic and A Dad And His Boys both celebrated narrow victories, each with a 1-0 score against Steve's Specials and S.I.N. respectively.

Switching gears to Division 1, Mellow Yellows showed their prowess with a convincing 4-0 win over A Dad And His Sons. MITS United also made their mark with a 3-1 triumph over Sparkalona, while Shark Island Nightmares matched this result against Shoebury Very Unathletic. The highlight of the evening, however, was The RTR Group, who emerged as the top scorers with a resounding 6-1 victory against BigHs 2nd.

As the league moves into its fourth week, the competition is expected to intensify with each team vying for supremacy. The current standings reflect the gritty performances and competitive spirit of all teams involved.
