Life's a Pitch find some room at the top Jan 25th

Matt Lambrick's Life's a Pitch head the premier league table after a tight 2-1 win against Chalkey's Boys to retain their 100% record this season at the Elba. Nicky Titch Williams proving to be the difference between the teams. Phil Llew's Village Idiots went down to their first defeat of the season following a local derby reverse at the hands of AFC Total Plumbing. Glyn Lloyd's Smack Bilic kept up the pressure with a fine win at the hands of Jamie Skipper's Lightening Sharks (who scored the goal of the night via Iwan Jones), whilst Harry's 657 scooped up the points in the final match of the night on pitch 1.

Over in Division 1, Tom Morgan's Shane Long narrowly edged out much improved Ninja Skyrtles 2-1 to head the table. Good wins also in Division 1 last night for a Zac Devey inspired Going Toulouse against Ryan's Tea and Busquets, Dan's Admiral Outbound against the Average Joes by the odd goal in 7, and the magnificent Goldtops who shone brightly in their luminous yellow once again in the gloom of Gowerton.
