March Magic at the Elba - March 8th

Matt Lambrick's Life's a Pitch rattled up the goals on Wednesday at a misty Elba to go to within one point of securing their first Leisure Leagues title, after Village Idiots slipped up to a resurgent Smack later in the evening. Terry Lloyd led the charge for Smack who edged out title chasers Village 3-2 in the end after taking a 3 nil lead in a quality match. AFC Total Plumbing continued their good form against Exeter with a 4 2 win, and 657 bounced back after their winter break to Den Haag with a cracking 9 3 win against The Lightening Seeds (Sharks). well played also to The Ivory Toast.

Over on pitch 2 and into Division One, Bash Street have moved one step nearer the title with a one all draw against a spirited Average Joes. Shane Long head the chasing pack after an action packed win against the much improved new Tea and Busquets. Admiral are tucked in nicley in third after a 5 nil win over the Ninja's, and still in the hunt for promotion are Going Toulouse who defeated the Goldtops by 2 goals to nil in the first match of the night.
