Season 5 is off and running at the Elba, with champions AFC Total Plumbing starting their defence of the premier league title with a hard fought victory against Premier new boys Not very Athletico. First night wins in the premier league also for 657 against Hippity Hoppity and for Baines IVS against Village Idiots. Going Toulouse and Too Klose for Gowerton shared the points with a One all draw in the opening game of the evening on pitch 1.

Divsion One also served up a feast of football last night, with debut wins for Fat and Unfit FC against Bakehouse, for the Ninjas against Slumdog, and for YMZ against Average Joes. Lightening Sharks and Kake and Koffee played out a tight two all draw on pitch 2 to kick the season off with a point each.
