Exeter Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 1

The Exeter Monday 6-a-side football league kicked off in spectacular fashion this week, with teams across all divisions showcasing an impressive display of talent and sportsmanship.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, the night was full of thrill and action, with FC Diddlers edging out Puyol Pants Down in a high-scoring game, 10-8. FC Diddlers' top scorer, Iggy, stole the spotlight with a staggering total of 6 goals, ensuring a victorious start for his team.

DIVISION ONE
Division 1 saw Boss Copters take an early lead in the season with a convincing 5-2 victory over We Argue Fc. Adam Mellors of Boss Copters bagged the title of the division's top scorer, having netted 3 goals in the game.

DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Sands United FC Exeter made a scintillating start to their campaign with a 7-1 triumph over Fake Madrid. Harrison Coles, with his hat trick, emerged as the top scorer for the division.

DIVISION THREE
Division 3 was all about AFC Class On Grass as they thumped Real Sosobad 5-1. Ryan Cook was the standout performer, scoring 4 goals and securing his spot as the division’s top scorer.

However, the most valued player of the week was Chris Badcott from Murder On Zidanes Floor. His exceptional performance on the field was instrumental in their 7-1 victory over Scoregasms in Division 2, marking a promising start to their season.

As the season has just begun, all teams will be looking to build on their opening week performances. With the top scorers setting the bar high, it will be exciting to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
