NEW EXETER TUESDAY 6 A SIDE SEASON GETS UNDERWAY

The new Exeter Tuesday 6 a side season kicked off last night down at Exwick Hub after a week off. Hope everyone enjoyed the bank holiday weekend, it's not long to wait until the next one. We welcomed some new teams to the league this season but the majority of last season's teams were back in action for the new campaign. Thank you to everyone who got their players to register for the MVP and Golden Boot awards, hurry up to those slackers haha. Here are the results from the opening night:

PREMIER LEAGUE

Wacko FC started the defence of their Premier League title with a 4-0 home win over C.F Murrayball, Rees and Burwood both hitting braces. Newly promoted Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels are top of the table though after they won 8-0 against another promoted side Inter Row Z. Rigor Morty's who just stayed up last season started this one with a win as they defeated new side Ghosty 6-2, Stephen Vaughan with two goals and an MVP award. The closest game of the evening in the Prem saw Thirsty Beaver win 3-1 against FC RO, captain Ben Mammola with a brace and the MVP award.

DIVISION ONE

Div 2 champions Heav Cres began life in Div 1 with a resounding 15-3 victory away at Partners, Toby McGauley top scoring with five and picking up the MVP award. We Argue go second as they won 7-3 at home against Brexit Ball while the other two games were much tighter. Put It In Dias and Haven't Jota Clue shared a 5-5 draw while The Boys edged it 3-2 against Crackin Plurrs.

DIVISION TWO

There were four really close matches in Div 2 on the opening night. Chubby Alonso's won by the biggest margin as they defeated FillHerWycombe 4-2 to go top. Strawberry Moussa and Albanian Rozzers both started with 2-1 wins, Moussa against Inter Ya Nan and Rozzers against Tiki Taka. The other game saw the points shared as Spoono Fernandes and Reus Crispies draw 1-1.

DIVISION THREE

Ben Butler scored a hat-trick and put in a MVP performance to help Crouch Potatoes go top of the Div 3 table with a 8-3 win over Win Some Lose Some. Private FC are second after a solid 2-0 home win against Pique Blinders. The other two games were end to end affair as She Was Only XI won 6-5 against Exonian FC while Lads On Toure won away at Sands United.
