Exeter Tuesday 6 a side End Of Season round up!

EXETER TUESDAY 6 A SIDE END OF SEASON REVIEW

First of all a big thank you to all our team captains and players along with our match night supervisor Neil and our referee's Andy, Lester, Danny, Ash and Amith this season, not to forget our ball boys. We've seen some excellent football and great matches throughout the season and some great title races across the divisions including a tense title decider in Div 2 last night. Congratulations to all our champions and well done to all our MVP and Golden Boot winners. Here's a round up of last nights action:

PREMIER LEAGUE

Congratulations to Wacko FC on retaining their Premier League crown despite ending the season in a 14-7 defeat to CF Murrayball who are maybe laying down a marker for next season, Wacko though clear champions with a five point advantage. Thirsty Beaver held onto the runners up spot, winning their final game 5-1 against FC RO to finish above CF Murrayball and MunchyJim on goal difference. Rigor Morty's ensured safety with a 8-3 victory over The Boys who go down with Aqualogics. Stephen Vaughan with a hat-trick and MVP performance for Morty's.

DIVISION ONE

Congratulations to Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels who comfortably won Div 1, finishing the season with a 5-0 win due to Chubby Alonso's being away, bigger tests await next season in the Premier League. Inter Row Z completed their journey to the top flight having started at the bottom with a resounding 18-0 win over Partners, Will Broadberry with a MVP award and four goals. In other games Put It In Dias won 8-3 against Crackin Plurrs while Haven't Jota Clue defeated Albanian Rozzers 6-3. Rozzers and Alonso's drop into Div 2 for next season.

DIVISION TWO

There was a massive game at the top of Div 2 last night as leaders Heav Cres took on We Argue who were just a point behind. It was a cagey affair with neither team wanting to commit too much, Heav Cres got the point they needed to lift the title with the game ending in stalemate 0-0. Congratulations to both teams on a great title race and promotion. Tiki Taka who lead for so long earlier in the season had to settle for a third place finish but won their final game 7-4 against Pique Blinders. Strawberry Moussa are just behind them in fourth as they picked up a 5-0 win with Exeter Gently away while Crouch Potatoes won 2-1 against Spoono Fernandes. Crouch Potatoes and Pique Blinders head into Div 3 for next season.

DIVISION THREE

Congratulations to our Div 3 champions Reus Crispies, after finishing a lowly 6th last season they stormed to the title this season, rounding it off with a 8-2 win over third place Lads On Toure. The69ers head up with them after a 1-1 draw in their final game with Private FC, well done to both teams on promotion. The other games saw bottom side Win Some Lose Some end on a high with a 4-2 win over Exonian FC while She Was Only XI won 5-1 away at Sands United.
