Excitement filled the air as the Exeter Tuesday 6 a side Football league kicked off its season last night. Teams from the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 faced off in a thrilling start to the week, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.
Premier League
It was a high scoring night. Internacional clinched a 5-3 victory over The Boys, while HEAV CRESS stood victorious with a 3-1 win against Thirsty Beaver FC. 6 Bricks outscored Wacko FC 9-5, and TGFC secured a narrow 4-3 win against Albanian Rozzers. The top scorer in the Premier League was Archie Brown of TGFC, who scored an impressive tally of 3 goals.
Division 1
Tiki Taka edged out Magasakis Men 4-3 in a thrilling encounter, Puyol Pants Down defeated Diff Heads 4-1, The WHC narrowly beat Strawberry Moussa 1-0, and Pathetic Athletic overpowered Spoono Fernandes 7-1. The standout player was Jude Byron from Tiki Taka, who scored a stunning 4 goals, earning him the title of Most Valued Player of the week.
Division 2
Both matches between Exonian Fc and Brown Bread FC, and Dads Army and Chubby Alonso's, ended in 2-2 and 1-1 draws respectively.
